I adopted a new, 1 yr old rescue dog in October. He trained pretty well, but is insanely stubborn, and hit a plateau. I had taken his training as far as I knew how (even though I had a pretty decent track record of rescue/rehab of dogs over my... lifetime). Ed very patiently and skillfully worked with Shaz on an exercise that broke through one of Shaz's walls, and after that it's been only getting easier. And of course, training a dog is also about training the owner. Even though Ive had dogs my whole life, I learned a few cool insights while woking with Ed. And, I brought home 3 exercises that each of my kids do with him now. NOW, he is SO obedient. Its like Ed got into his head and flipped on a switch, and showed me how too.
